Spray Dryer

The HIROSE food and pharmaceutical spray dryer is an ST-1 class explosion proof  system at the NanoMaterials Innovation Center. Used primarily as a process tool for investigating new mixtures of binders, plasticizers, and chemistries, it has also been designated as the system required to process to our synthesized nanoparticles for manageable transportability. The system is capable of processing a volume equivalent to 4L of H₂O an hour.
